Sports Pic Of The Day…

Trigger happy referee Dave Pearson sends Ronan O’Gara to the sin bin during Munster’s Heineken Cup clash with Toulon yesterday. Tony McGahon’s team was defeated 32-16 at the Stade Felix Mayol which meant the men in red failed to make the quarter finals for the first time in over 12 years.

Jonathon Sexton has be been given the nod ahead of Ronan O’Gara for tomorrow’s clash with New Zealand. O’Gara had a strong performance against Samoa last week but Kidney has once again gone for the Leinster man to wear the number 10 shirt. There was a bit of good news however for the Cork man who signed a new two year contract with the IRFU yesterday.
