Pictured in today’s Irish Independent are Anna Haris and Sammy Long, ambassadors for mental health charity Aware. Yesterday they helped launch the group’s national fundraiser ‘Daisy Days’, which takes place from September 15th to 17th.
Aware’s mission is to create a society where people with depression and their families are understood and supported, are free from stigma and have access to a broad range of appropriate therapies to enable them to reach their full potential.
It definitely sounds like a good cause to be supporting.
