Sports Pic of the Day – C’mon Ref!!!

The Copa Libertadores final between Brazilian club Santos and Uruguay’s Penarol erupts into a mass brawl moments after the final whistle. The Santos celebrations were cut short as both teams exchanged punches and kicks until police stepped in and intervened. The flair up reportedly kicked off after a Santos fan entered the field and started provoking Penarol’s players. Our picture shows Chelsea target Neymar lashing out at a vulnerable Penarol player… And Pele claims the Premiership will not suit the young Brazilian prodigy as it may be too physical for him… I reckon he’ll be able to hold his own!!!

The American supported an extravagant jacket that was frilled and doused in white tennis balls, along with black stripes on her cheeks. GAA Blog – CSI: The Sunday Game

They might not be receiving the same viewing figures as their US counterparts CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but RTÉ’s own version of the hit series, CSI: the Sunday Game, has gained a cult following throughout the GAA over the years causing much debate and even greater controversy. This summer has been no different and in the past month alone we’ve been subject to both ‘Twittergate’ and ‘Carthygate’.
