Ghost in the Elevator! Hilarious or Scary?

What would you do if while you were riding an elevator, the lights flickered off and when they came back on, there was a strange, ghostly little girl clutching a baby doll staring at you and screaming at the top of her lungs? In this clip called “Ghost in the Elevator,” you can see the reactions of some unsuspecting people. I must say the reactions are priceless. Several people attempt to not look at her or just ignore the girl, perhaps hoping she’ll disappear. Others visibly recoil and make their way toward the far corners away from the little girl.

It’s perhaps a little too early for Christmas ads but when I came across this one it would have been rude not to share! The new John Lewis Christmas TV ad celebrates the extra mile we all go to at Christmas to find the perfect gift. Ok, yes you’re watching a snowman’s journey but while you travel with him and listen to the stunning music you’re sure to be touched by it. The ad is called ‘The Journey’, it opens in a family’s snow-covered garden, with children making a snowman and snowwoman. When the snowman has mysteriously disappeared the next

This is the first time Dublin Zoo has been home to Asian lions and the new development marks the beginning of a very significant international breeding programme.   To celebrate their arrival, Dublin Zoo is inviting people to suggest names for the pair of female lions based on their Indian origin. Pic of the Day – Skill required!

My question today is, have you got the skill required? I’d like to think that I would be able to do all the hop, skipping and jumping, while actually trying to balance on rollerblades but I think I may dream on!     Pictured in today’s Metro Herald are Skaters and BMXers enjoyed the sunshine and expert help from world- renowned shatter Mark ‘Snowy’ Brew and BMXer Donnacha Carroll, at the DLR Leisure Services, Monkstown during the weekend.    Have you got the skill required to play with the big boys?

Pic of the Day – Rain and Superstitions!

Pictured in today’s Irish Examiner are two shoppers braving the weather we ‘enjoyed’ yesterday! The bad weather always gives us something to talk about but as we are Irish aren’t there many superstitions to follow. It’s said that, if it rains on the first day of any month, it will rain seventeen days that month. I’m choosing to ignore this one but I thought it best to mention, just in case. When the first rain in May falls, you should catch the water with your hands and wash your face. This will get rid of wrinkles, and purify. Well it

Pictured in today’s Metro Herald are some lucky little pups. These dogs were pictured in the book of a car during the carmaker’s Pet Day event promoting safe travel for pets in cars at the New York International Auto Show in New York yesterday. Forty-six million households in the U.S. own a total of 76 million dogs, according to the American Pet Products Association. Nearly six in 10 people in a recent survey by AAA/Kurgo Pet Passenger Safety Survey said they drove with their dog in the car once a month over the past year. People in the U.S. really

Pic of the Day – If you go down to the woods today…

I really am going for the cute approach with my Pic of the Day this week but I’m allowing it!   Do you all know the song ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’?  Once I came across my Pic of the Day I instantly started singing it and as catchy/irritating as it is, you will be sure to be humming it for hours after reading this blog.  I’ll apologise in advance!     If you go down to the woods today You’re sure of a big surprise If you go down to the woods today You’d better go in disguise.   For
