Hello Michael,
Your name and place of birth caught my eye and I am wondering if we share common ancestry, that is if your family go go back to Kildare Town 100 years ago when there was only one O’Keeffe family headed by Michael O’Keeffe and his wife Mary nee Butler. Mary Butler was my grandmother Mary Cahill’s first cousin so it is the Cahill line I’m from. Looking for relations in Ireland to help fill gaps in my family history.
The first name Marcella would be a clue as that name has passed through the generations from Marcella Cahill to Marcella O’Keeffe who married Patrick Geraghty with a daughter named Marcella Garaghty.
If I’m on the right track and you are interested in family history it would be nice to hear from you.
Kindest regards,
Mr Terry Arthur,
Tyne and wear,
England.
