Pic of the Day – Goatee the surfing goat!

Pictured in today’s Irish Sun is what may surprise a lot of people, a surfing goat called Goatee.   The two year old goat is a real water baby and loves nothing more than donning her special life-jacket to catch a few waves.  Speaking of Goatee’s first seaside trip, Dayna McGregor of Pismo, California, said: ‘She did pretty well; she got up on a couple of waves. I say got up – we put her on a couple.’ Online videos of Goatee, who may have been inspired by the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds album, are now an internet hit.

GAA and alleged payments to managers

Uncovering the debate on the GAA and payments to managers The difficult issue of payments to top GAA managers has been brought to the attention of the national media once again by the publication of a discussion document by GAA director general Paraic Duffy last week.  After all, in more recent times we have been hearing whispers that top county managers are being paid up to six-figure sums per year. When grocery giant – Tesco / Homeplus as it is known in South Korea wanted to expand their market in South Korea they innovatively used QR codes to capture the public’s attention. South Korea statistically has one of the longest working days so the one barrier this campaign had to overcome was lack of time.
